So UTI’s are super awesome wrapped in painful fun. I’m glad I get to experience one at the age of 37. Apparently, anything other than cotton panties can’t touch my female hoohah. This is BULLSHIT.

I actually asked for help from any divine being. Help for more patience. Help for more understanding. Help for less negative distractions. Help to find some type, even if it’s just a little bit, of happiness. Help to wipe away our tears and make our worries fade away. Help to try and make people understand the fight and struggles parents like Norbert and I have to endure to raise a child with learning disabilities, delays and ADHD. Most people are quick to judge and say our child is lazy, not disciplined, misbehaved, unruly, etc…or even better, that we’re the problem. If I could just figure out a way to HELP people really see and truly understand.

I sit up some nights filled with worry and tears will stream down my cheeks. I cry at work, in the shower, in the car and always hidden because I don’t want my family to see my weakness…it won’t do them any good to know how unsure I am about everything.

So for any of you parents out there who are unsure and feel as if you’re lost, just know WE TOTALLY UNDERSTAND!!
